O modelo adotado baseia-se na implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de uma infra-estrutura de fibras \u00f3pticas dedicada para as institui\u00e7\u00f5es de pesquisa e educa\u00e7\u00e3o superior, com a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de cons\u00f3rcios entre as instiui\u00e7\u00f5es participantes de forma a assegurar sua auto-sustenta\u00e7\u00e3o.
